The Cultural-Academic Society Lola crowned this year’s season on Sunday 16th December 2007 with a concert of Russian music performed before a packed hall in Kolarac.
The Academic Cultural Society Lola was a guest at the Kopaonik School of Natural Law’s 10th Meeting which is traditionally organized by the Serbian Legal Association and gathers over 2,000 jurists from all around the world.
Lovers of folk dance and song had the opportunity to enjoy a concert performed by the Academic-Cultural Society Lola’s Folklore Ensemble accompanied by the Tamburitza Orchestra and the Traditional Singing Group on Sunday 9th December in the Kolarac great hall.
By the decision of His Royal Majesty, the Crown Prince Aleksandar the Second, AKUD Lola was granted the right to use the royal coat of arms on its products. At a reception in the White Court, held on Saturday 8th December 2007, the president of the Society, Mihajlo Rabrenovic, received this prestigious title on behalf of AKUD Lola.
